Recount

On Monday 16th January 2017. We learned about “What is recount?” I don’t know but teacher explained that about this recount is a text which retells events or experiences in the past. Its purpose is either to inform or to entertain the audience. There is no complication among the participants and that differentiates from narrative.

Recount is told someone about something or events or experiences in the past. The authors will use past simple tense in write sentence because it is event or experience in which past, so it requires a sentence that is past.
Generic Structure of Recount
1. Orientation: Introducing the participants, place, and time
2. Events: Describing series of event that happened in the past
3. Reorientation: It is optional. Stating personal comment of the writer to the story

The teacher gave the sheet she analyzes the text in the sheet. Today is bad day because the weather is hot and air conditioning was broken. Later air conditioning repair technician but it not cool and so hot.
